The Colorado Storm is a semi-professional team in the USL-W League, based in Denver, Colorado. In their first season with the USL-W, the team made an impressive splash by becoming 2024 National Finalists, marking a major milestone after several years as the Colorado Rapids Women in the Women’s Premier Soccer League.
My role was to help shape and elevate the team’s new identity on social media as they made the transition to the USL-W. This involved creating dynamic content through graphic design and photography that captured the energy and excitement of the Storm’s journey throughout the 2024 season.

My Approach: Graphic Design
Sports graphics are typically clean and refined, but for the Storm's first year in the USL-W league, I wanted the designs to send a clear message: "A new team has arrived, and they're here to dominate." To convey that fierce energy, I infused my designs with a gritty, raw aesthetic, adding a bold, noisy texture that set the Storm apart from the rest of the league. I also incorporated elements like lightning, clouds, and mountains, drawing inspiration from Colorado's iconic storms to reinforce the team's identity and competitive spirit.
